Training will provide proven methods to ensure that students receive assistance and services promptly by addressing reported issues, proper handling of information, and helping to limit the effects of a challenging situation on students’ education. Topics covered: your role as a responsible employee, student policies including Code of Conduct, Prohibiting Sexual Harassment, Sexual Violence, Relationship Violence, Stalking, and Related Misconduct, suicide, mental health issues, DACA student issues, LGBTQ community support including preferred name, pronoun use, and other intersectionalities.
