About Us

Meet the Ambassadors

My name is Kayleigh and I am the Program Coordinator for the Rutgers University Community Ambassador program. I am a recent graduate from the Urban Studies program at the University, and am working towards my Masters in Public Administration here on campus! I have lived in the neighborhood for quite some time, and when I heard about the Community Ambassador program I knew I wanted to be involved in some capacity, and am so excited to work with our students and residents!

I am a sophomore pre-social work major, with a minor in psychology. I have a passion for helping people and building relationships. I hope with my degree and experience such as CA, I can build a degree around assisting and guidance people through different situations.

I am a criminal justice major! Other than criminal justice, my other academic interest is music!

I am Jevonta DeVine and my major is nursing. I enjoy working with children and making sure the people around me have what they need to succeed.

Hi! My name is Steph Ferreira. I’m a transfer student from Rhode Island and I’m a Management Major. I am considering a career in law in the near future.

I’m a junior at Rutgers School of Nursing, set to graduate in May 2019. I’m a three year resident of the Cooper Grant neighborhood and hope to become more involved in the community and be a great resource for all my fellow students, friends and neighbors.

I’m 24 years old and in my junior year studying Social Work. I plan on getting my BSW and MSW so that I can work in the field of Social Work on a Macro level to ensure policies being put into place serve all populations of race. My lifetime goal is  to help the vulnerable populations until the word oppression, used to describe the unfair treatment of certain races, is diminished.
