Informal Complaints

If a person reports to a University administrator, faculty or staff member that she or he has been a victim of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence or stalking but chooses not to file a formal complaint at that time, the complainant will be referred immediately to the Title IX Coordinator and promptly notified of available support services on and off campus and alternative remedies.

Informal complaints to University personnel will be treated confidentially consistent with applicable legal requirements and safety considerations.

When a complainant does not consent to the disclosure of his or her name or other identifiable information to the alleged perpetrator, the University’s ability to respond to the complaint may be limited.

If you are reporting a crime in progress, or require emergency service, call 911 immediately.
