LGBT Violence Awareness Conference

This conference discusses some of the most recent research on the victimization of women, members of the LGBTQ community, and other marginalized groups. Special attention is devoted to hate and bias crimes against LGBTQ students and to the ways in which these harms can be prevented.

Our 2016 Conference was Keynoted by Dr. Walter S. DeKeseredy, Anna Deane Carlson Endowed Chair of Social Sciences, director of the Research Center on Violence, and professor of sociology, West Virginia University.
